Then you have not yet attained trucking enlightenment.

The bodhisattva of trucking resides in Central Point.

That’s what I was thinking. 1 Oz of Redbud or Gold was $45-50 in 1980. That’s what I heard back then, not that I would know anything about such things. Heard the Redbud was the best.

That’s what I was thinking. I have a 1500w that’s bad, wired in with (up to) 2000w cable. All I need is a 200 amp maxi fuse for the battery. I also have the 1000w wired with (up to) 1500w cable. I’ll keep the 1000w to run the fridge. When it goes, I’ll replace it with a 1500w, along with the 150 amp maxi fuse I’ll have leftover. Eventually with a 1500w, and a 2000w If 1 ever goes bad, I’ll always have the other.

I would just put in a 2000 watt inverter with the fuse.

I bought the thickest battery cables I could. Pounded some some copper connectors on the ends. Then hooked it up.

My 2k watt has been good for over 2 years. I had one last 4 months and one last 3.5 years. Generic and cobra brand.

    Edit:
    Cobra was 2500 watts.

No need, Bought one at least 15 yrs ago for $23. It was on sale.. I was geeked to find such a great deal. Found it last summer on the floor of my old Chrysler. Never been used. Afterwards I saw that same one at Walmart. Yep they got me. I’ve been planning on using it for years. Good for hot soup from home. The Carafe works good in the Truck. Or brew an extra pot for the Thermos. I used to use a cheap plastic one, with a flip up spout. It was handy.
