When I was driving for CR England. I was told that the fuel stops were to get the driver out of the cab. To avoid driver fatigue. This is probably why companies want drivers with less experience doing the instruction. A driver with more experience is set in their ways and will be more likely to be resisting a company requirement of frequent stops.

In my book, one cant be too set in their ways. One has to be willing to learn and keep learning. It is a different world if your willing to accept change.

I’d like to believe it was for safety. I think that’s just lip service. In think it has more to do with IFTA and where they get fuel cheaper. It’s always about the money.

And BTW I absolutely love the “whooshing” sound my truck makes as it goes by my idiotically computer planned fuel stops. I’d explain some of them in great detail but just imagine the stupidest least efficient use of my time. Sort of like reading my posts. :D

    The OM chosen wisely.

    This load has 2 stops.

I parked in a door, 1 of 3, at stop 1, doors open.
It is the correct door. Now by the time they are finished, I will have 8 hours in sleeper berth.

    Smartest cat EVER.

You do realize when you use sentences like "Hey tuck........" that it is one of the hallmarks revealing a psychopathic behavior right?

9 subtle signs that you're talking to a psychopath

Probably be better off just starting a pity party for trainers thread.
