You may like Knob Creek, they do a heavy rye mash bill.

Well I at least got the front grass cut today. It’s pretty hot and humid. Waited till almost dark. Need to finish backyard before it gets warm tomorrow. This is out on a boat weather up here. Not work weather. Got to get my Lazy ### back to Work. Another Dr. appointment on Aug 8th. That will surely turn into at least 3 days off work. I could sure use a crew of Illegals around here. They all headed back to Mexico in 08. Literally had one living in the woods near my old house. He popped up out of nowhere, one day, offering to help work on my Truck. Trying to make some money. Said he was living in the woods, trying to get back to Mexico. Gave him a couple sandwiches and a coke, made a phone call, tried to get him a job with another Illegal Landscaper I knew, turned around and he was gone. Lol.

What’s funny is, I used to complain about the Illegals, saying kick them out. One day, I buried my Trucks front tires in the lawn. Had my daughter, 13 at the time, pulling Me with the Jeep and a chain. A few nosey neighbors drove by, staring. The Landscaper Stopped, said he was laid off, no unemployment. Obviously Illegal. He insisted on pulling my Truck with his Suburban. I mentioned working at 12 yrs old, heavy lifting, hurting my back. He said, in Mexico, he had to go to School till he was 8 yrs old. Then went to work, unloading 100 lb. bags, with another boy. 8 Trucks a day! Wow!! Now all he wants is a safe neighborhood and Schools for his kid, same as Me. Changed my whole Opinion about Illegals.

 

I used to work with a guy that became a citizen when Bush grantes them amnesty or whatever it was in the 90s... He left Mexico when he was 17. The last job he had in Mexico was loading dump trucks at the gravel pit with a scoop shovel, him and 2 other young guys each loaded 3 trucks each night, 6 nights a week.... He was here illegally for 10 years before he became a citizen.
