Yeah but just think you could probably pull a 10% grade at 80 miles an hour lol

 

I hear ya there man... But I think this local stuff will help me shed a few pounds. Especially when I can do a drop and hook, including sweeping out the empty in about 9 mins.

 

Thats what ive found with the local stuff as well. Its fast paced. When outside the truck its go go go , not much time to f around.... The guys at the quarry were laughing at me yesterday because i was sweating like hell throwing my chains on and it was only like 50 degrees outside. Saying for me to slow down and take it easy. Those couple extra minutes mean everything in local work

 

Ya think someone could figue out how to marry a 9 speed onto the back of an 18 speed so I could run the planetary axles that can handle the torque that puppy generates...

It would be kinda like the old 5 & 4... But 18 & 9

 

Those couple of mins can be the difference in being home at night or stuck 50 miles from home.

 

Holy #### lol that would be the craziest truck ever built. I think by the end of it you wouldnt be able to haul any freight . You would be maxxed out on weight just running empty

 

Who said it would haul freight... A truck like that wouldnt even break a sweat until it had 150k behind it... Over sized, over weight, Run permits
