Im gonna keep running with the cables this winter. This will be year 2 with them. They got a little bit of rust on em from sitting in my sidebox , but hopefully we can get thru another winter with them.
Best part , super light to work with , and no cam tool requiredLoSt_AgAiN, Dave_in_AZ, lovesthedrive and 2 others Thank this. -
2, plus the new ones in the bags. Had 1 last winter that didn't fit the cams on the bag it came from.Bud A., LoSt_AgAiN, lovesthedrive and 4 others Thank this.

How many times have you used then? I've seen them on more trucks recently in place of chains.LoSt_AgAiN, lovesthedrive, Dale thompson and 2 others Thank this.

I got good use out of them last winter. But only interstate mountains. Lookout pass , 4th of july and snoqualmie.... Used them about 10-15 times , still in great shapeBud A., LoSt_AgAiN, Dave_in_AZ and 5 others Thank this.

Sounds pretty durable, my problem is when a few states think you need iron for wet pavement.Bud A., LoSt_AgAiN, homeskillet and 6 others Thank this.
-
Yeah couple times that happened over lookout pass . They had the chain laws up but the pavement was just wet on the idaho side . Well as soon as you get to the top of the hill it turned to snowpack. Other times the chain laws wont be up , but snow at the bottom of the hill. I will always throw chains if its snowing at the bottom because its only going to get worse as you go up... atleast on that mountain thats how it is.... And lo and behold everyone who didnt put chains on because they werent required is stuck halfway up the hill... this usually happens early in the morning when whoever controls the flashing chain signs is still in bed sleepingBud A., LoSt_AgAiN, homeskillet and 8 others Thank this.

Have you tried running balance beads in your steer tires??? That seems to be standard operating procedure at my company... And we get 200k to 300k with a good driver and no alignment issues.Opus, Bud A., LoSt_AgAiN and 5 others Thank this.
-
Are the beads better? Im getting balanced with weights right now. I dont think the tires that came off were balanced .LoSt_AgAiN, Dave_in_AZ, lovesthedrive and 3 others Thank this.
