Sounds logical, as the old "grist mills where we took white corn back in WWII days (1943- 8 yrs old) to have ground had the old table top stones (power gear driven from top kind of like the old sorghum mills). Was something to do with the war effort, as bread was no longer available sliced. everyone bought a "bread knife". First serrated blade I ever saw.
So I am assuming that now the typical grind is production with steel "cutters" and the "stone ground" is a feature...
Kind of like organic or natural. An option at a higher price. Marketing....
