    The viscosity numbers have little to do with the quality or performance of the oil to do its job. All they are is a rate of flow at a specific temperature.

    I have used Chevron oils for decades, and always liked them.

    I’ve been using Rotella for as long as I can remember. My Dad and Uncles used it.

    I use the blue bottle T6. I was pretty happy when my X-15 came with a sticker saying use that oil.

    Funny my Sticker on the frame from Paccar for the ISX says Chevron is recommended. But that sticker is from the truck assembler not Cummins.

    Any quality oil is fine, regardless of the brand name.

    I use what ever is lowest price. Oil is oil. It doesnt matter the brand, it all comes from the same place. Its like saying the ocean air is better than mountain air. You want to pay a higher dollar for what ever is your business. Yet that higher dollar means you have to charge more to make up for the overhead.
