What if it Snows?

Heck I was in a white out in WY back on May 13th. But that is Wyoming weather.

 

Wonderful WY does not count.

 

Yesterday, a little one stop sign town on the border of CA and NV, delivering to the co-op, the low temperature was 37. Sun started to rise, by 08:00 it was 52 degrees.

 

Why-O-Ming doesn’t really exist.
It’s a state of mind.

Slept with the main door open and screen door in place last night. No apu, No ac, No heater.... The cat did curl up on the covers and pin my feet for a bit last night. Dog started up to be let out about 0600. It's 0810 now.

I've had worse nights.

Trying to recall... Restaurant building ,left side of 31 NB, fairly wide front to get up to 5 or six exp parkers in for eating.
That would have been in 55 to 57. Used to come in to Nashville on 100 from Henderson, dead end at river, whack a left and 2 nd gear up hill to take a right on to bridge. Off bridge end, 31 NB and on up thru TN.

You would think it would be the other way what with all this global warming. People have short memories.
I can remember chopping a 4 foot square hole thru 3 inch ice in our stock pond for cattle to water in early 50's in West Point, MS.
Over the years I have also observed that we have really hot summers sometime and not so much others. Same with winter.
We are predicted to have a colder winter down here this year. Weather varies, so any of you who live another 20/30 years, may see a reverse pendulum swing. From recent news media reports, weather may be the least of our everyday living worries.
