I dont know how many of you studied in school about what happens during a nuclear blast. Part of the reason of everything burning in the blast? Is because of our atmosphere. The air is 78% nitrogen. During a nuclear blast, that nitrogen is converted to an oxygen rich atmosphere. The blast sends out extra electrons.

Tho with todays bombs. 10 of them is enough to wipe out the USA.*

There was a show hosted by Leonard Nimoy called "In Search of...." In the show he purported that in world war three. Three missles will be sent. Two will get destroyed. One will get through and destroy the city that has been reborn. It purported it would be NYC. This was before the twin towers fell. The perpetrators of this war were to be a government of the mideast and (this part I dont remember, tho it was suggested to be russia. Tho I would think North Korea as they have a bigger grudge)
