Finished 4 long days of orientation yesterday and drove back from St Louis early am today. A little brisk this morning. Down to 44 in SE Misery.
I hope this thing here works out because I don't think I could handle ever having to go through orientation again.

JolliRoger, dwells40, Judge and 8 others Thank this.

Have 2 in-laws worked the gas side, both retired. Both hated every day they worked.
The pay off was a full benefit retirement. They have some good benefits.

I feel that the government hinders the utility company in doing its job. The whole system is to blame. I dont think huge judgements are the answer. Not the best allocation of resources. Maybe take a portion of the pay of certain company officers. Then they would care.

Some suburbs require an arborist to evaluate how to trim trees and a permit. That's a bit insane. That's for private citizens.

Granted I don't get why they have forest fires every year. Lose 10% plus of the forest land each of the last two years. Make some good cabins. It's a waste of wood
