    I remember taking a 34 in Mitchell SD during Sturgis.
    I was going to get a motel room but they were crazy expensive.
    So I stayed in the truck and walked to the bar and the Corn Palace. And an antique shop where I bought some Ross Perot campaign stickers.
    That was a fun little town

    Did a 10 in East St. Louis during this major gang pow wow. Was definitely the only white guy around. Many had their patches sewn on bullet proof vests, some sporting Uzi's.

    I sat in the Burger King and ate my Whopper meal deal.

    I'm thinking they figured I was an undercover, or simply the craziest white man on the planet.

    Went back to the truck and went to sleep.

    After Karachi Pakistan during a full blown, throw down, get your butt shot off riot, most places around the lower 48 seem pretty tame — as long as you remember your a guest — just my opinion of course. Chicago is about the roughest I been around lately.
