    Anymore, I consider a wash a fixed cost of doing business. I know it'll rain within 24 hours of doing it, but for a minute or two, it makes me feel good. Just like paying my insurance bill.

    That load should easily last 4 years. Thats about how long it would have lasted at my old house. But the house I bought last fall is much better insulated so I'm thinking that load should last 5 years, maybe 6 years. But that can be swayed either way by at least 1 year dependant on how bad the winters are. Anyway you cut it though it is more economical than paying electric or gas heating bills.
