Cat had a great idea. Increase airflow 2x, cut emissions in half. The solution to pollution is dilution! Genius. Pure Genius.

That Crane Rigger looks like he’s in a bad spot. Look Up!! Before it’s too Late. I almost got killed on a Barge once, by the Boom. Heard it coming, and ran. Barely missed Me. Great Big Free Fall Boom, with a 30” strong back. That was a dangerous job. Largest beams we had were 36x300x60. 18000 lbs. Look out!!

Think of all the other products that Cat makes other than on road diesel engines.

The relatively small amount of revenue from truck engines was not worth the hassle (nor the financial exposure) of building a product to the whims of the EPA. Just allowed them to sell a few more bulldozers, graders, and other non-regulated equipment. As a company was a good move for them to get out of truck engines.

Cummins is not diverse enough to get out of the market segment. Detroit (Daimler), Paccar, and Volvo are owned by truck manufacturers so must comply if they want to sell in the U.S.

I thought he was more of a poor kid that never had money. Became filthy rich by creating YouTube content. Then stopped paying attention to how he used his money. He got more views by behaving badly. I stopped watching after he destroyed the airplane. Saying the FAA wont mind what he does on his own property.

For those of you whom dont know. The channel is Whistlin Diesel

@Dave_in_AZ what breed are your cats? Do they shed much? Been a few years since ours died and the mice are a pain in the winter. Plus Oliver could use a friend. Preferably one that isn't a big shedder
