Rods and mains wouldn’t hurt. Probably not needed. Good idea to have them check it out. The question is, what would you get if totaled out? I’ve been given the choice on a Truck, and once on a car. Both times it worked in my favor. Prices being high right now. My Insurance says they’ll replace mine with Like Kind, if totaled based on current Market. Sometimes it’s better to keep what you have. No telling what you’ll get. Unless a big down payment on a new or newer one is the goal. Either way, hope it comes back better than before.

They calued my truck at 75k. If its totaled out ill just go find something off the lot to drive for awhile until prices come down and then work on specing out a truck to fit the work that i do. Make my job easier

Got the ol flatbed back. Ordered a new storage box for the passanger side. Just waiting on it to come in.

New hubs , new 5th wheel plate. Some welded spots on the rub rails. Alignment. Good to go. We will see how it pulls tmrw with a load of rocks. First load since we flopped it over. Now if I could just get my dang truck back. Still hasnt moved from the back of the shop

Got the grass cut real good yesterday. Clippings were wet. Ran it over again today, Neighbor across the street cut his too, I know because he blows all his crap onto my side of the street. All under and around my pick up. Hard to be friendly to people like that.

Policy's used to read "with like kind and quality". In taking a replacement, it's the quality that is hard to get matched sometimes.
I've got a 99 Dodge Dakota, SLT, V6 Magnum, 106K miles some by brother who bought new, about 32K by me since.
It is not worth a lot on the market. But is irreplaceable to me.. Gonna be a difficult decision and odds are against happy end.
Unless "Walrus" was offered, and you have confidence on him as a replacement.

Smooth... Every time you do 1 and 2, you will need to do 3.
You ever bale hay or combine oats?

Except for some people in Montreal who like to pretend they don't understand English.

Nothing is scarier than watching my wife doing the monthly bills. Shes on top of it. Usually anyways. We just noticed my Truck Ins. is 10 days overdue. Wham!! A. $798.37 surprise. Oh well, looking forward to spare ribs. It’s also garbage night. Very exciting around here.
