Forgot my coffee cup in the dishwasher on home time. Uh oh, not good and yes, I panicked. I generally fuel at Love's so I grabbed a couple of cups and walked over to the counter hoping they'd simply wave me on through. Not so lucky. $1.09 for two, small cups. Continued on down the road and stopped at one of my favorite hidey holes. Thought I'd grab two more cups. Walked up to the counter and asked what the damages would be. The young lady smiled at me and said get outta here.

One more reason to give your business to the Mom and Pop stores.

We appreciate that, Dave. Governor Nuisance needs the revenue to fund all his pet projects. My favorite is his proposal for a curfew on trucks during daylight hours in major metropolitan areas. Don't laugh, at the last CTA meeting they gave us a questionaire from the state to fill out to see how it would impact truckers.
The meeting was in Sacramento. You could have heard the screaming and yelling in Eureka.

You gotta remember, it's California. Common sense and logic don't always apply and stranger things have happened. ;)

Got a text from a active military friend yesterday. It was not good. Fill in the blanks.

    Raises hand.......

So no rock or dirt deliveries to construction sights and subdivisions being built? And no more paved driveways? No more Landscaping/hardscaping?

Because working those sight at night would violate noise ordinances........
