Sorry forgot that lol - IFLOP was good. service was a little shaky. I asked for Tabasco and got nothing. At least she did apologize after blaming a co-worker . ate lunch at The courthouse cafe in Versailles. Got a brisket sandwich that was mediocre. They dont do bbq here like they do in Texas - BUT waitress was very nice and wearing short shorts so thats a Plus -

Leg can compensate for a multitude of short comings.

The OM is woke. Which means I am woke. Just about time to be safe to drive again.

So we are down to 7.5 for the trip. Cruising 68 and battling some cruel, but not unusual traffic/construction conditions.

    West bound and down.

Some trucks, most trucks are 18 wheels and rolling.

Blackie however this morning, is 18 wheels and growling.

Back in the '70s, I made a batch of apple wine. Then a buddy and I ran about half of it through a still to try and make apple brandy. Don't know the proof but it was very, very high for sure.

You are right. We ended up blending the high proof stuff back with some of the apple wine and it was really good. But still would knock you on your butt if you weren't careful. Never have made any since.

Apple wine? Isn’t that just another name for hard cider?
