It is kinda like the Army. Army has 3 men, who: find out where you are from, and send you far, far away.
Finds out your friends already in, and sends you far far away from them. Finds out what you did in civilian life and assigns you to an advanced technical school in no way connected.
EG: Me... Truck driver. Offered Basic Analysis or Advanced Electronics. Wound up SP5, MOS 982.5, Senior Traffic, Control Specialist, mission controller for 65 men. (MOS 058). Go figure???

House blown up..... Gots to think bigger bud.

Other than natural gas not available out here, one reason I lean toward Propane is I would control my infrastructure.

No, Manual Morse radio operators. 4 tricks, 3 working, 1 on break. Look up U.S. Army Security Agency,
9th USASA Field Station, Clark Air Base, Philippines.

(Unit slogan: Lovers by night, Fighters by day, Drunkards by choice, the 9th ASA.
Engraved on one side of a Zippo lighter, other side had a Palm tree with an antenna sticking out.)

New house is all electric. Modern day building technics and technologies are definitely worth it.

I really only use heat maybe 3 months out of the year.

New house has a BIG 'ol unit on top.

Adobe houses in AZ look good to Me. Instant hot water tank mounted on outside of house. Winner. The radiant heat, pex in a poured slab. Guess you still need a humidifier in AZ. I’ve seen houses way up on the UP. built with pre fab sip panels. Styrofoam sandwiched between plywood. Nothing but radiant floor heat. Keeps it real warm. Even 2 stories. New technology is amazing. I saw something about the panels getting moldy. New thing now is spray foam. Supposedly, no attic ventilation needed. Big debates between newer sealed envelope and the house breathing theory. Extreme weather swings makes it more confusing. Have to avoid making a mold sandwich.

the key to stopping mould is to have vents open when its suitable.

our house in australia is about as sealed as a chicken wire fence. no mould.
