Should watch "we need to talk about Kevin." About a disturbed kid. Only the mother sees it. Ends up locking the doors at a pep rally in the gym and killing people with his bow.

Good, I never liked pep rallies. I think I'll check that flick out, I love happy endings.

Ban archery equipment, it has gone wild and killing people. Also be good to ban all "blunt instruments". I notice that a lot of deaths are reputed to be caused buy them. Get this straightened out and longevity will skyrocket.

Can you imagine... This situation occurred and right off they have implemented a solution. Fits right in with the new American way of handling problems. Existence, recognition, media exposure, social media/talk show solutions ventured, then there is a realization that it not gonna get well.

They got Me last night at the scale. I’m still dealing with the trauma of it all. Good thing I have my comfort companion dogs with me. They still love me when I make mistakes and when I’m down. $847 overweight ticket. 6500 lbs over on Trailer. Guess I won’t be trusting my dash drive air guage anymore. I suspected 1000 lbs worse case. Wow was I wrong. Add another $200 to rework the Trailer. It’s tempting to dodge scales. Then again, bad can always go to worse. I was just looking at the weigh rite system at the Dealership. Cost around $800. Guess I’ll have to wait on that for now. What a F Up. Oh well everyone’s human. That’s life. Move on.

Arrive at reciever at the same time as a flatbedder... Forklift operator then proceeds to get stuck in the gravel yard while unloading flatbed. I guess I'll just take a nap, I may be here awhile.

I was thinking, now that they caught me. I’m going to have to find a new song to sing, while running all night. Midnight Rider got caught. Lol.

I woke up this morning where I picked up yesterday.

I was blocked in by incoming trucks, and had to ask a couple of them to move, which they were nice enough to do.

Stopped at Love's Demotte, IN, for fuel and coffee, and kept heading south.

Big wreck at I-65 mm177. Cb says get off at x190 on to US 231 South.......which looked like this:

    20211014_103248.jpg

About 2 miles ahead is the flagger at US 231 junction with IN 18. They kicked everyone off I-65S onto IN-18.

    It was a HUGE MANATEE.

    I'm at the J at I-65 x140 now.

It's taken me FOUR ####ING HOURS to get this far.

So I stopped to get a slice or two of PFJ comfort food, and hitting the rack to reconvene in the dark hours, when we truckers own the road......

Well, I guess reefer and LTL seem to own the road at night, but I'm out there, too.

For a guy who was "sick of working nights", I find myself driving at night. A lot. By choice.

I had a phone interview for a lical job yesterday. I have a phone interview for a different local job tomorrow.

I started an application for yet another local job, and stopped halfway through, and I get a daily email reminder to "PLEASE come back and finish your application!"

    Wow.

And just 3.5 years ago, I had to put in 32 apps to finally get a bite.
