    At my Thursday delivery, trailer is due for inspection and they only do then M-F 0700-0300. Sneaky suspicion I'm in Chicago for the weekend.

    Thank you for that, but........the Universe had other plans for me.

    I got stuck in a 1.5 hr parking lot on SB I-75 due to a semi rolled over a little north of the Resaca rest area. The fog I was driving thru turned out to be smoke.

    Only thing left at the scene when I got up there were cops, a GDOT crew cleaning up the wreckage of about 250 feet of guard rail, and an aluminum trailer that looked like a giant crumpled it up, then tried to unfold it back to proper shape.

    I'm outta hours, I had to pay $10 for a spot at this ####ty little truckstop at I-85 and GA-74, and I got a phone interview coming up in about 15 minutes.

    When I scheduled this yesterday, I figured, "Even if an 8am delivery goes horribly wrong, I should have plenty of time to eat lunch and 'freshen up' for 2pm."

    And the Universe said, "What is YOUR definition of 'horribly wrong'?.......Let me show you OUR definition"..........

    not really…. But that’s ok.

    I test drove one once at the salesman’s request…..I never even made it out of the parking lot at the dealership, I turned around and said no way…

    it was like being in a minivan.

    Quick derail freightliner exhaust note a annoying hiss that only some nazi bastigges fondling himself and fantasizing about gas chambers could possibly enjoy. German engineering better than Swedish but that’s not saying much.
