What if it Snows?

That’s how I did mine last time. Still didn’t have enough wood for the last one. Kept trying to air it up and get it on before going back down. Lol. Finally just jacked the frame up. That last one took longer than the other 3. A Driver asked why I didn’t just cut the air lines and use a quick connect. No thanks. What I didn’t have were new ferules. Made it tough getting the old airlines back on. Next time.

 

Landstar O/O has a 2018 Cascadia with a Dd15. Says his fuel mileage is only 5.5 Says it lurches at idle. Wants to know how high the HP can be set. Old Prime Truck set at 400hp now. I’m thinking 500 at least. Maybe needs an overhead ran.

 

I went to Walmart. No Delvac Sold Out. Should have got those 6 gallons I saw the other day. So I call O Reilly’s, they have 3 gallons. On the way, I stop at Autozone. They have 3 gallons. I have 2 gallons onboard. Still 2 gallons short. So I see Valvoline at Autozone. Excellent price. So I buy all 8 gallons. Add my 2 gallons of Delvac. I’m good. Apparently O/Os are hoarding Delvac from Walmart. Those sneaky SOBs. Why didn’t I see this coming? From now on, I won’t pass it up. I’m buying every gallon I can. $13 gal vs. $21 at Autozone, $26 at O Reilly’s, and $32 at T/A. Not worth doing myself at $20+ a gallon.

Delo at a crazy price. They were great to deal with. I suppose, just like Love's, Js, TAs and the rest, they're like barbers. One good one doesn't mean they're all good.

As predicted, winters supply of firewood has been bucked, split, and stacked by mid October. It is finished!!!
