When I started driving for WE there was a flat bed driver that was in the office requesting hazardous duty pay. Seems the flatbed he was hauling had a load of tar shingles on it. He was driving east on I-10 and the load shifted. He had brought in photos of how he had to restack some 20 pallets of shingle. No idea if he got it. Yet he was proof that skateboards do at times require hads on.

    Granted you did say "rarely"

Same at the house. Plants are now loaded with fruit, just not ripe.

June was an odd month for weather. Maybe held them back.

Have to wonder what happened to cause that.
    That would be some work.

I believe he was blaming it on the heat. Yet if it was secured properly it shouldnt have slipped.
It was a helluva pic. The shingles had slipped past the deck by 3 feet or so. Lack of scurement?

    MartinFromBC Thanks this.

Wow, that’s a lot of movement.
Most likely was not secured correctly.

Saw a WE driver reworking a load of 2x4s on I85 southbound going into Atlanta about 20 miles from town one time.....on the interstate. I mean ON THE INTERSTATE.

Fresh tomatoes are something to behold. Best enjoyed on toasted bread with lettuce and crisp bacon.
Hoe cake with fresh ground sausage and garden ripe tomato drizzled with Kings syrup is tasty as well.
Sweet corn just showed it's delicious face around my parts. It's the small things in life...

MartinFromBC, tucker and tramm01 Thank this.

Only tomatoes I go for (other than the human kind) would be chopped finely or pureed. Then again I have no teeth.
