    So $3.35 a mile is bad? It was only 80 miles for you sure, but it was 160 for them as they had to go back (or come get you)
    So 80 miles x2 (round trip) x2 again (tractor and trailer) (I'm guessing because of weight) / 1075 = $3.35.

    Now if you were empty or whatever it sucks, but I'm not seeing that as horrible just on a milage basis.

    No, I thought it was a pretty good deal.
    Hook for Goldie PLUS power for the trailer. (ie, 2 trucks. Hook and a second for the trailer).

    It actually is. That time I had Casper towed a second truck took the trailer. It was like 40 or so miles. 50? $900 or something like that.

    So we have completed our mission and are checked in at the shipper to begin the next one.

    The OM is pleased.

    Like 50 LANDSTARVE trucks here.

    Apparently I'm to be second even though there's like 48 in front of me.

    Well, my hope is that the nationally known truck stop that everybody LOVES, makes it right with the repair, tow, and down time. If not, they will be speaking with the attorney I spoke with today. He's from Australia. Seems legit.

    I just checked fuel in Gary In. $4.00 a gallon. Good thing I topped off in Hayti Mo.$3.49
