Honestly, in my book, thats $5 very well spent.

Just got off the phone with 'the dude'.
Seemed pretty agreeable with it all. Kinda bucked at $500 a day in lost revenue, but sounded open for negoiation.

New crapcadia life has taxed my tolerance of idiots. Ryder shop in Spartanburg SC couldn’t service a wheelbarrow. I told them the ABS isn’t powering up. First thing the tech (Ryder thinks he is a tech I don’t) crawls underneath the trailer looking for physical damage. Then plugs in the laptop to truck after 45 minutes much scrotum scratching and staring at laptop screen consulting with 2 other technicians the lead man brings a light tester. Blown fuse whoda thunk. Now the tractor has a cel and I hope this prick burns down. The assault on 40 to get home begins.

Had that happen to a truck at a former place of employment. Our own employees split the rear most rear end and reasealed it, but forgot to refill the rear end. About 50 miles later it locked up while getting on I-15. I got tapped to go get it mobile again.

Arrived at the scene about 30 mins after it locked up. I pulled the axle shafts on the seized axle and the drive shaft between the 2 rear ends. Locked the interlock and drove it to the shop. Total time the truck was disabled at road side was just shy of 1 hour.

Once we opened it up at the shop we had to replace all the seals and gearing in that rear end. Had the truck back on the road in 2 days.
