This same dude did my last LANDSTAR inspection. 0 violations.

That time, the trailer I had was AFU. I watched him repair the brakes and hub. I knew then this was the man.

I think most of us are OTR or Regional from what I've gathered by reading WIIS posts over the last 4 years. But was just curious. As most of you know I was OTR for nearly 4 years, then earlier this year I transitioned to a mostly Local with a smattering of Regional runs.

7, when I got my CDL I was with a company that I ran regionally for, but the other part of the job was commercial HVACR work. Refrigeration sucked me in and that's where I've been, CDL gets used for helping friends that end up in some kind of bind and need some help. The job I have is similar to trucking in the sense that you love it or hate it, I get plenty of driving in but this service van ain't got no sleeper!!(could've used one coming out of Craigmont ID. at 0300ish a little while back)

Watching that dude do the inside wheel seal, I could see several steps during the process where it could get afu.

1) Not cleaning all the old gasket / seal materials off.
2) He used a sleeve that looks like a mini post hole digger and puts the new one in place with just a few taps using a small sledge. Goes on square and flush.
3) They have a stand that holds the entire hub assembly, so it goes on square.
