On a side note. My ex-wife got her start there. Those cooks are amazing. They actually have to break down and clean their whole station every hour. She couldn't pan flip an egg w/o breaking. They gave her a case of eggs and had her do it till she got it right.

But yes, home fries are good, hash browns for the win.

I've managed to run Dougherty County out of beer and Lee county has banned me for presumably 'precautionary' reasons.
I might have to go as far as Florida for beer. Something tells me they have a BOLO on me for all adjacent counties.

Again, I agree there are BETTER places for breakfast. I've been to many of them. A lot of the East Coast-style "rail car diners" can't be beat.

Waffle House is consistently "decent".

It IS like McDonald's, in that they've honed their system to deliver consistency.
I find that comforting.

Food's hot, cooked on an actual stove/griddle, it tastes good and fills the hole. At a competitive price.

You can get better food for $5 at WH than you can at McDonald's.

That's all. I'm an unrepentant Waffle House fan.

 

They have salad, which is a bowlful of the same lettuce and tomatoes they use on the sandwiches.

No cooked veggies, to my knowledge.

 

Come in and undercut what we bid on the loads from the shipper. Systems transport does that all the time with one of our customers
