Look at the money saved only going to the dentist every 30 years, whether you need to or not.

As The OM feared fuel mileage has taken a substantial hit.

The wind is HOWLING. 226 Miles into the day the devastation is REAL.

True. When I was 26, I got laid off from a Teamster Local Job delivering meat and fish. I proactively got my wisdom teeth pulled (only had 2 on bottom, none on top) appropriate for a half wit like myself. I resolved to brush better than ever. 6 yrs later, I bought my first Truck. 4 yrs later, I’m paying $6000 for braces. I had Dental insurance along with Health insurance paid for myself. Still didn’t want any extra bills. A few yrs later, I had a toothache. Got one filling. All others looked good. After that I lost a gold cap, from a root canal I’d had since 15 yrs old. The tooth broke off. Didn’t bother me. A few years back, maybe 5, I broke the same tooth on other side. Lower rear. So my wife convinced Me it’s time to take care of my teeth. Seemed reasonable, hard to disagree. My daughter has perfect teeth, my wife’s have been well maintained. I figure get everything fixed, last me the rest of my life. $7000 later, all I have to show for it is 3 new fillings, one failed bridge. $157 yesterday for cleaning seems worth it, for their time. I think good brushing and occasionally using a sharp instrument myself could yield just as good results. My Dentist sets up cleanings every 4 mo.s automatically. My wife usually cancels and reschedules for 6 mo. Intervals, like normal Dentists suggest and most policies cover. Anyway, I’m going to look into coverage. The coverage I had for a few months wasn’t any good. Maybe I can get a couple implants and caps. That’s all I need. So called periodontal disease, I’ve been warned about the few times I went to the Dentist never happened. All my teeth were supposed to fall out about 15 yrs ago. Amazingly my last cleaning, after complaining about losing my bridge, they claimed my gums had improved, needing only a basic ( cheaper) cleaning. What a coincidence. I believe in being proactive with any health care. Recently they’ve caught one Doctor treating people with chemotherapy, who didn’t even have Cancer. Some died from the Chemo. Other Team of 2 Doctors performed dozens of unnecessary Heart bypass Operations. I don’t Trust anyone, when it comes to Greed. Just saying, I don’t want to be their next Victim.

Well, I paid Virginia the $847 overweight fine. I was 2 days late. No penalty or interest. No suspended Operation. Got the ach for $1047 few days ago, reimbursing Me the fine and the $200 rework on the load. Also got the bill for damaging the Tankers fender. $488, very fair price. Hats off to fairness. I’m not used to such Integrity in others. Very refreshing. Checks in the mail. I can now say Quality Carriers is an honest Company. The $488 is like an occasional speeding ticket. A reminder to slow down. I was in a hurry that day. As much as I know better, still took a chance, thinking I had it made. I’ll be extra careful, I think it’s a sign of my getting a bit too comfortable and lax on my habits. Being in a hurry and taking chances eventually catches up with me. Time to put the safety man hat on, and re evaluate my Driver. Gotta first take the maintenance hat off. Maybe I’ll just turn the hat around good enough. Lol
