Crazy crazy times. House just sold down the street for $309k. Unbelievable. Flippers paid 180k, put new roof, furnace, a/c, Windows, flooring. Kitchen, baths. Everything. Had to cost $70k in upgrades. Had it listed for $349k, no bites. Dropped it to $289k, it got bid up to $309k. I’m very surprised. Meanwhile I finally got a haircut. Do it myself, with a little help from my wife with the back. My medium blond hair is dark brown and grey. What’s left of it. I should get ready for a big sale around here. Everything goes. House, cars, eventually Truck and Trailer. Very tempting. Great time to cash out, wait for other opportunities to arise. Crazy times. I still can’t believe it sold for $309. Probably be back on the market in a few yrs for $200k as a trashed out foreclosure. Wow! Just Wow!

    Again.. Consider.
Consider your heath, your wife health, both your ages. Your home ownership position. Then the sale prices. Might be time to grab; idle, then restart with a variance. I sold a used forklift operation in a similar price peak and have never regretted it. My advise is of : No cost, no value. No warranty.

Many years ago the wife scored so loud I would sleep in the living room with a pillow over my head. We were volunteer fore rescue at the time so we borrowed the spare pulse ox from the station and I stayed up all night logging here O2 sats. She would drop down to the 50s. Doctors said she was lucky to still be alive. Once she got her cpap she never snored again, and I get to sleep in the bed. If you do have sleep apnea a cpap is a life saver

It all depends on location...... I know places where $300k won't work as a down nor buy a build-able lot.

The OM has come out and is exploring and marking her new home for the next 2 days.

There's a few spots that seem to hold great interest and are getting thoroughly rubbed and rolled.

    Here.

170 large will get you 2.5 acres and a well, with shed in my neck of the woods. Bargain.
