Yeah I get the beer in the truck thing. Working for the distributors is where the free beer comes in. They pull it from the C stores when it's out of date, local truck takes it back to the distributor and boss gives it to employees who delightfully take it home in their car.

    It's kinda against the law.
    But I get your point.

Oral sex is against the law in my state. I never thought to question the beer.

Yeah, but getting (or giving) a hummer won't necessarily get you fired from your job.
Getting busted with $20 worth of beer in your truck will.
It's just silly, but its life.

This is why you go a place like lowes or tractor supply and buy a tool box that will fit on the cat walk. Large enough to hold a few six packs but not so big it would interfere with the trailer. Then put a lock on it and a sticker that says “tire chains inside” then when asked, no they don’t give us a key, they say we should just park if it’s that bad.

Once again, too much trouble, too much worry.
    Look, leave out at 0600.
    Go to the distributor.
    Unload.
Go back to the Good Life City.
Get under another load for tomorrow.
    Park in the yard.
    Rinse and repeat.

    No big deal

No. What I'm saying is you will never see the free beer anyway as a plant to distributor driver. The distributor hands out the what could be skunked beer to his local drivers when the plant doesn't want it back. Either that or the dumpster. When your 23 a case of out of date Budweiser Extra is like the jackpot. Maybe it has changed in recent years.

    Appreciate the heads up, Dave.
    But there's 2 problems.
    #1, I don't live in Arizona.
    #2, I wouldn't on a bet.

But dang sure Appreciate the heads up.
