    Oh yeah, I watch the gauge for a bump. Smooth road doesn’t work. As long as it bounces a bit, Im good. Then I calculate, and surmise I must have 3 gallons to make 15 miles, for instance.Thats the game. I haven’t ran out since I fixed my tanks. Both were tilted off when I bought it. I ran out about 6-8 times. Once while showing 1/4 tank. Couldn’t trust the gauge. They say not to run them low. Like Tibbits said, gets the crud out, into my brand new filters.

    You gotta have some pretty filthy tanks to suck up crap. Pick up tubes don't set on the bottom and unlike gassers, there's no fuel pump to keep cool.

    My tanks say 140, they’re actually 150s. Most I’ve ever put in since getting them set right is 235. That leaves around 25 gallons in each. About 6” of fuel. Though it will run out. My WS could be ran down to 2” before running out. I’d like to get 2 new 200 gallon tanks
