My issues with DEF were that my filler was on the passenger's side of the truck. I had to either go through the pumps the wrong way, Fill a container to fill the tank, or stop at a place with Def on the correct for me side.

So yes on a 2k mile round trip to SoCal I would pass 1 viable def filling spot that had one pump set up correct, TA in Coburg, OR.

Well you get to another easily answered question .

Why in the world would anyone pick a truck that you have to go through that kind of hassle?

    Lepton1 Thanks this.

    1. I was told that if you keep adding fresh def to the tank it keeps the mixture more stable and reduces sensor issues. I have no empirical evidence to support this, but it doesn't hurt things so . . . .
    2. To make sure my guys understand how it works
    3. In winter it may be another 1,000 before you find a working def pump.
    4. It used to count as a fueling so if I topped it off every time I fueled where I was supppsed to then it helped my bonus.

    DEF
Pour some def on the ground or your steps and it will crystallize into a white powder.
So a low def tank may form crystals up on the top of it.
And they will fall down into the def.
Why take the chance and let that stuff form?
If you’re worried about weight then get rid of the cats and that nasty litter box.
