    Fired up the rental rig. Getting my stuff unpacked . northbound in the morning with a load to idaho falls and it needs tarped.... Still never get easier leaving home , not sure how some of you guys with small kids and a wife, do it. Just hurts my heart saying goodbye and climbing back in the rig and watching the family drive away.

    You need a side hustle so you don't have to stay out as long, you know, bring in enough money so you can be home every week or so. From what I understand it's a simple three step process:

    Id be lying if i said i havent thought about a local flatbed gig out here. But i know myself and I would get bored with it after awhile. Just noticing everytime i come home i realize life goes on without me. Sister in law had a baby thats 11 months old and i hadnt seen her yet. So many buildings have been built in the town i live , looks completely different. Dad and mom are starting to sprout some gray hairs. Just amazing how fast time can go . everyone and every place looks different even just after 1 year
