Just got offered a load to E. Berlin, CT. Never have driven the Northeast and I wouldn't have a clue where to stop. Might be best for me to pass on that one.

On the rare occasion I drive a bit wild, I make sure to be somewhere safe to do so, and am either alone, or just my little sister with me, and it brings her great joy when I do it. Have not done it with anyone else along in my truck. My little sis was driving, I was her passenger when she was 16. She decided to try drifting a little bit on a corner, on our way home, in the family pickup. She hadn't yet mastered drifting, and we wound up in the ditch. As we were only an hour walk from home, we just got out and hoofed it. That is the most scared my sister has ever been. When we got home, I stood beside her, holding her hand for a wee bit of comfort as she broke the news to my parents. I was expecting some yelling and cursing at least. My papa stood up, looked at us, and said well you don't look hurt. How bad is my truck? We said we didn't think it was too bad, but was stuck really good, we could not rock it at all. Mother stayed silent, and papa looked at me, and told me to go start the loader up, gather enough chains to reach the truck when pulling it out, and then for us to take the loader and go pull it out. So we did just that, and when we got home papa came out, had a good look, and said could be worse. Told my little sister that she would be paying for the damage, and she wasn't allowed to drive for 3 months, which she quickly agreed to.
Papa walked back to the house, my little sister looked at me, and a tear rolling down her cheek says "That went a lot better than I expected ".
I had to agree, I was expecting much worse.

    LOL!!!!
@Pamela1990, this place ain't much different than many other internet sites, with one exception; the MODS don't play.
You're fairly safe here......you might loose a couple of brain cells here and there, but other than that, you'll be fine.

    I like this place!
And my skin is pretty thick, my sense of humor is also usually pretty good.
I have 2 guys on ignore who are just annoying.
The regulars in this thread are all wonderful.
But this creep, well he crossed the line.
As soon as I read the PM I hit the report button.
Quick as can be, RE06205, the moderator, dealt with it, and sent me a nice PM.
I was surprised by the speed in which it was handled. Assuming that it may be hours before it was even noticed.

I'll take a week off my normal gig, fly to wherever @Rontonio wants me to meet up with him, and pull any load he wishes. Took one look at his copilot, and knew that I wanted to drive for him. Could be 5 axles, or 25, across the country, or in a 50 mile radius. The load can be radishes, Christmas trees, or a feller buncher. I know that it will be great, because look at that sweetheart riding in the truck.

Hard pass. It sucks that bad.

Just cut that part east of the Hudson off of your atlas
