I don’t know about your area. Flatbed loads from what I’ve always seen outnumber Dry Van loads by at least 2x often more. The ability to off load without a dock is key. Normally pays at least 1.5x better also. Dry Van being the cheapest. Have to get loaded and run more miles to make it work. That’s normal times. This little boom won’t last forever. At best it will land in a Happy medium. More than likely there will be a big drop in rates before that happens. There’s some real good paying flatbed loads almost always available. Normally, overall long term.

Never knew dsv has van loads . ive heard some of the stuff they post on the boards is just terrible. I can imagine the flat and step stuff that gets posted is the loads none of the internal drivers want...

Doesn’t matter to me. Except on a Peterbilt. Then it’s double straps, since they always break.

Yep, been booking with them for years. DSV must have bought out someone, or changed their name about 5 yrs ago. I forget the old name. Generally decent pay, easy to work with. I was under a load from them when I blew an injector 200 miles from home/delivery. They worked with me. Wife ended up in the hospital at the same time. It was Chaotic. Worked it out though.

They’ll rot and crack quicker from sitting, than from use. Like a tire, dry rot.

$17 buys a decent meal. Doesn’t cover the tip though.

I'm not "anti-hot chili", I just like a balance between heat and flavor.

I know some people like "blow-your-face-off-and-scorch-your-####" heat......

    Not me.
