Get a small can of coffee and sprinkle it around, then sweep out. You'll be good.

They wouldn't allow coffee smell either, apparently this place rejects more trailers than they accept.

Double Amen on that. I used to think that part of my problem with containers was simply lack or knowledge, abut how the port system worked, Nope.

Try to relax your concerns for internal surgery some. Not to make light of it or your condition, but it is not a big deal. I had "irregular" heartbeat on a DOT health card renewal in 2011. They did cardiograms, looked OK. Did ECHO cardiograms, looked OK. Did stress test on treadmill just short of breath. Conclusion was there is something wrong with your heart, we do not know exactly what it is, nor where it is, but we need to do a catherization. It showed three bypasses needed. So week later, surgeon came in room, and asked "How you doin?"; Tell him fine. He lifts my undershirt, with black magic marker makes a dot near and just below each breast nipple and one about 8 inches below them and to the right. Caps the marker and says "See you downstairs" as he leaves. They wheel me down and are very nice and helpful with transfer from bed to table. slap on the face mask, I count back to bye bye and wake up fixed. I was 76 then.

All fine and I am doing some rehab (highly recommended) a week or so later. I have a little bulge under my skin near the top of the vertical scar. Shaped like a small pinto bean. So surgeon says: May be a little topical infection. Could be an inner infection. I ask, what do we do? He replies, Go back in and see - I exclaim Hell no.., he say relax-Just a one half inch incision to see and check.

Back to the operating room. See highlighted above. Not so gentle. Will you get your ### over onto the table please, we need to get started. Out and back in short time. The stainless steel wire they lashed my ribs back together had 5 joint locations. The wire is tied like a John Deere wire tying hay baler, pulled together and twisted, excess cut off. This top twist tie was bulging up making the appearance I describe. So he had made an incision, saw the situation, with sterile dikes clipped one side and pulled it out. I had healed enough to not need, so I have 4 joints in my chest an one in a jar in my dresser.

Should you get internal surgery, swab the seams with Liquid Vitamin E on a Q tip. Leaves barely noticeable scars.

Women are real good at organizing cramped quarters. Might want to consider some short term contract labor.

Ports are my bread and butter. Dry van cross docks. Never have pulled a can. Don't even use the same entrance as can haulers. Twic card is essential though. Always a line of Crete and Schneider drivers sitting waiting for a escort looking all sad like they lost a puppy. Show them the Twic card load and leave. Still the same Crete and Schneider drivers sitting on the way out, except now they aren't sad. These dudes are spitting mad and screaming into their phones.
Port Wentworth and JAX work fairly smooth. Have tried it in Jersey twice and would just assume paint my walls with brain matter. Just gotta stick with what works.
