Very doubtful it was there since the second world war.

Me too. Wouldn't have started driving again if I had do do much work.

Fortunately, my truck does not have a pump. From our terminal companies that used to require truck pumps have pretty much went to their own pumps and hoses. Cheaper for them in the long run.

Lol, I once threw mine at the windshield. The result was a cracked screen. Big mistake

Looks good out there alright. Today might just be productive. I’ll be glad when it’s March. Knowing the worst of winter is behind me. Favorite time of year in Michigan, waiting for summertime, knowing it’s right around the corner, and winters far off.

    I've moved around. A LOT.

So much so, that the question, "Where are you from?" is not an easy answer.

Probably right, now that I've had time to calm down and get some good sleep.

I was hoping for a mulligan on that one, but this outfit apparently isn't geared that way.

I might have dodged a huge bullet by not getting the job.

Missus Skillet is still making noise about dusting off her CDL and coming out here with me. I told her "put up or shut up."

I don't make a lot of money here, but I have a lot of flexibility. I can cover my bills, with a bit extra.

Never mind. I'm starting to ramble.

This is always a crappy time of year to change jobs, so I guess I'll just have to mentally hunker down and suck it up, and stay off Indeed until after New Year's.

I suppose I'd better get dressed, get some coffee, and get driving, if I want to get home by dinner time.

Those O/O videos are good for someone considering buying a Truck. It’s all common sense simple math. Any O/O should have done the research before buying. The old vs. new argument for fuel cost vs. Truck payment for instance. 6 mpg vs. 8 mpg running 2500 miles a week. At $3.50 gal. equals $364 difference per week. $1092 for 3 weeks. $1456 for 4 weeks. A $3200 mo. payment is $800 a week. If only 3 weeks are worked, it’s $1066 per working week. The old Truck with no payment nets $1744 more per mo. working 4 weeks. $2106 more per mo. Working 3 weeks.
