    There is 2 kinds of chili. Chili with beans is called chili beans... mexican chili is no beans and spicy enough to make u slap ur momma.. It really isnt texas thing. Its mexican chili is where it comes from and its completely different then chili beans.

    Oh boy lol - down there in Texas, Lockhart to be exact, there are several Q joints that do NOT have sauce. None. I like sauce on my Q. Therefore, the joints that do not have sauce do not have to worry about my shadow darkening their doorway -

    It really isnt made up. Im from arizona i grew up with mexican chili but also ate chili beans as well. They are 2 different things. But once u cross north of i10 it seems to be a foreign concept lol
