As a former boss at a retail location, It would be good to advise them not to demand a date in a store/bar. If they are not courteous and professional they may have to deal with a short tempered neanderthal like me. Yes I was the like that crazy uncle, and most of my employees were glad they had me around.

Had a couple of dudes play it right..... One passed a home printed social (business) card across the counter and asked the young lady to call him if she would like to meet up and see if they were compatible for going on serious dates.

Had another that asked me directly if one of they crew was in a relationship before asking her out. He was also a good kid and passed her his number after she said "Sure!". So they could work out the details when she wasn't working.

At that time I was single and the crew also ran interference to keep the predatory/undesirable females away from me.
