    I mean really I understand being thrifty but throw out gramies hand me down set and catch something less dated at the next K-mart/Sears closing clearance

    If I was him, at the very least, I'd tear that entire deck down, and just start all over so I didn't have to look at it.

    Even if they spend all winter sanding it, it'll never be right.
