    Time to shop for a better place to live?

    Property taxes = $1,300 per year (when I upgrade the house may go to $3k per year)
    No income tax
    7.8% sales tax for this county, other counties are higher but I just use 10% for state extortion. ( but only a bit over an hour to a no sales tax state).

    Yes all those factors were considered as part of the choice to move here.
