We all hope you read the instructions and seasoned that heirloom pan before you cooked fish in it. Otherwise you will have salmon flavored French toast forever.

Well. I sprayed some PAM in it. And then I thought " I should have washed that or something."

So, I took a paper towel and wiped it out.

Then I sprayed some more PAM in it.

Then I cooked a big 'ol ribeye.

    And it was delicious.

I will say my skillet of Dave was much more flavorful than before. Probably do to lack of Teflon particles.

I hauled my first load of glass today in a Conestoga. Plenty of advice and help from an old hand that has done the load many times. The glass wasn't tempered, so it was a delicate thing threading straps under the glass over the bottom of each rack.

When I delivered there were about two tablespoons of glass crumbles on the deck. I pointed that out to the forklift driver and he said, "Don't sweat it. They cut these down and temper them, so they don't need the edges."

I'm stoked for next week. I start Sunday, on a power only pulling a dry van "like" trailer that is a power generator (with low clearance) to a mining operation in Utah. I looked at the turn by turn directions and it looks like I get to pull a few thousand vertical feet the last few miles on a dirt road...

    ...I have a woodie.
