Still have a clear "cow " and a "steelie". Break, and on the ring line counts as in. Draw the ring a deep groove. Hunch on break, and cheat at every opportunity.
Post a lookout if playing for "keeps".LoSt_AgAiN, Cowboyrich, Boondock and 5 others Thank this. -
We have a shop about a mile away. I bought a belt there. Surprised to see a few picking up their Vacuums. Seems like a good Business to have.LoSt_AgAiN, homeskillet, dwells40 and 6 others Thank this.

That’s about it. Belt needs to go the correct way, and the beater usually goes in first on one side. That’s all I know.LoSt_AgAiN, homeskillet, InTooDeep and 6 others Thank this.

There’s a couple Cattle Haulers in Mississippi I’ve seen quite a bit getting fuel. They run together, both have spurs on their boots. I wonder if they ride them onto the Trailers. Lol.LoSt_AgAiN, homeskillet, InTooDeep and 11 others Thank this.

I was just poking at Dave with the impression he would need someone to install a new belt. On 2nd thought; if it should a 'directional " or even a 'criscrossed",
he could get the OM to show him.
On the shops. Down here all the dealer offer repairs. Quote you hi $, advise it takes time, your machine is "old" and not as efficient as the newer models.
Sell a new one. Then, puts a new belt and roller brush on the old and offers for sale. They are almost as profitable as a forklift shop..

We didn't have any of that fancy color, solid-state stuff when I was a young kid. Some of my earliest memories of TV, were seeing Lyndon Johnson always giving speeches on our black and white Sylvania console. I just wanted him to go away and quit interrupting the Flintstones.
I remember later on in the early 70's, going to the corner store with my dad with all of the tubes out of that same TV. They had a Sylvania Tube Tester that would tell you which ones were bad, so you could fix your own TV.
It was 1972, when my grandma died and we inherited her Zenith solid-state color TV. I was disappointed to see that a lot of my favorite shows were still in black and white (The Munsters, etc).Dflip, LoSt_AgAiN, homeskillet and 11 others Thank this. -
Never wore spurs but used them ice spike things to get traction down thru the bedding for the floor. Wood, aluminum trailer had not been invented then.

No need, already a Pro. Lol. The old Hoover’s were the best. The new ones are all gimmick. Anytime I’ve tried to fix them, we end up with a new one. The thing sits in the middle of the living room days at a time. The automatic cord reel doesn’t get used. I give up. Only one I’ll be buying again is the automatic type. Those are cool.LoSt_AgAiN, homeskillet, dwells40 and 6 others Thank this.
