What if it Snows?

Could you stick a present day fireplace rack (dog irons set) in long ways. Build one, 2 pcs 3 inch channel, 36" long to stick in, with 1/2 by 12" rebar welded across it at 3"intervals. With ends bent up a little or the whole piece curved. Make like a a cradle. Be cheap if you have a friend who can weld. Buy the iron, set it on a concrete floor, tell him to "stick it".

Kinda like this. Lowes. Less the 20 bucks. I used one similar but stronger/more cross pieces for 7 years. Left it in the fireplace when I sold the house in 2013 so guess they are stll using it.

 

Reality check……

 

Be peanuts or peaches. GA is a very good source. However, Opus could have managed to wangle a can or two of "Billy Beer". That you would not get. Highly treasured in some circles

 

There is a song: Red necks, white socks, and Blue Ribbon Beer. Beer is fine, and us Rednecks are nice after you gentle us up a little. White socks are just what we had clean today.
