It's Nebraska they'd use all 3 if there were another.

Bus station in NYC did not either till H.L. Godwin, from MS, caught a charter out of Atlanta to NYC in 1953.. They pondered, retook order, cook came out to verify, settled. I will being you some next week. He took them a round cardboard box of grits, went into kitchen and supervised prep, took some to a table and enjoyed. Replenished as long as he ran NYC. This is true story. He told it to me in NO, La in June of 1953. Had our senior class charter, first and only Trailways Bus I moved around a parking lot. Reverse was positioned like a Volkswagen and he was surprised I found it. Ancient times.

In June of 1953 my Mom and Dad were married in New Orleans. Mom was a sales girl at Rubinstein’s and Dad was out of the Navy and going to Tulane on the GI Bill.

I was in a hospital in Greenville, MS sometime in 1954 with food poisoning. Had eaten a bowl of stew and drank a Coke in Starkville, MS at 2AM that morning.
Must have been a bad Coke, huh. Any way, I am there; been pumped out, and am delivered a "poached egg for breakfast. Told them NO on the egg. Nurse say she will get the doctor. Doc come in, gets the update. Says to me: AND I QUOTE.. Eat it or die.. And I quote / me: I will die. For if I eat that, I will die. He ask: Can you eat Jello. I say, by the truckload. He tells nurse. Feed him Jello. I survived till 1957 when it reoccurred in Franklin, TN. Courtesy of a late night steam table above Cincinnati. Parked rhe cattle rig at a beer joint south of town and got a cab back into a doc. No egg offered, word had spread.
