why let real info get in the way of disinformation….

“People who have received the booster are better protected than those who received only the second, and of course, more than the unvaccinated,” Alroy-Preis said.

In 1953 ish, Elvis was the milkman delivering from a stand up driven van with glass bottle in the rack. Running back and forth, while I went on down S.
Parkway in Memphis, TN in my big KB5 IH straight 18 foot cattle truck enroute to S. Memphis Stockyards. Finished auction in West Point, MS at say 9 PM,
eat, load, leave by 11, and drive 150? to Mphs by say 5 AM and ole Elvis be trotting the bottles. Never met. Knew he did the milk work and saw the van on S. Parkway. Did run S. Lebanon, OH to Vera Cruz, Mexico with his cousin Kenneth Presley.

I had great parents, still have my papa, he is a good man. Lost mama in 2015, at only 47 years old. Miss her every day!

Papa actually wants my sister and I to move back home. He is lonely living their on his own. He keeps bringing it up, so my sis and I have been discussing it.

A gentle no. Over my many years I have seen this. Dad/mother/uncle is old. Younger relatives in concern did this: Closed in the double garage, plumbed for bath, set him up. he lived 16 months. Another for an uncle.. Added on across the back of their house and made a very nice day room and bedroom/bath.
He passed away 8 months after move. One was in law related and other ND neighbor for years. All efforts made and time/? took its toll and residences remain not as were, finances for the changes, change in the premises when later resold, etc.
This is why I live in a very nice retirement community. 2 room independent living apartment, LR, BR, nicely equipped kitchenette. Parking lot to pickup 50 feet away. Well balanced hot lunch served 6 days a week in a large communal dining room. (Morrison's has the food contract.) I prepare my breakfasts and dinners. Also has an assisted living division adjoining, nurse on duty. All sorts of activities, in door and planned trips (Branson, MO-The Ark in KY).
1 daughter (lawyer), husband (cancer doc) in Lex, KY where he started 9 yrs ago. 2nd daughter paralegal (Brahms Const Co-St Louis. MO) moved to Lex 5years ago when Action Ind (furniture) where she had worked 21 years shut down.
My wife died in 2011. I lived alone in 4 BR, 2000 sq ft until 2013. 2nd daughter had been divorced for several years. I had encouraged her to move to Lex when her old job shut down, but she did not want to leave daddy here alone. During these years, I had heart bypass surgery and a fairly mild stroke. I fully recovered, go any where I want and all an 86 year old is interested in doing. Still drive and shop for myself. I can live here; manage my own life as I want, and get sick. There is medical unit here that I can be transferred to. Get actually disabled, can be moved to an Assisted Living section. Get senile (more?), there is care/treatment available.
(The lawyer daughter works from home via the Jackson, MS office for a LARGE law firm in Mphs, TN- Other one works from home to St. Louis office of the const co which builds, manages, and staffs, retirement communities.- Both wake up at 7:30 AM (EST time) in Lex, sign in on PC, make coffee and breakfast. Then start work at 9::00 (CST time) when MS and MO office open at their 8:00 AM) Been doing this since there, not connected with the Corvid bit.

I will go up 12/18 and stay till 1/2/22 for Christmas. Life is good, trucking was better. :):)

:)Fr the Mods.. Will not continue long diatribe's. Got carried away with counselling the next generation...
