Got a gallon of coolant. Time to go put it in, and check all my tires. Make sure everything’s OK, batteries must still be good, fired right up yesterday, (before it died), after sitting 18 days. I sure hope I don’t have a head gasket leaking. It’s been seeping a tiny amount of oil on the right side, near the back, 12.7’s usual spot. I helped install it, and watched the bolts being torqued. New reman head, quality gasket. Cylinders were all at .04 thousands above the deck. Shouldn’t be a problem, unless the DD head is defective. The one problem I have is my yellow check engine light doesn’t work. Only the red. That means no warning, no checking stored codes. Only active codes. Any intermittent problem has to be caught as it’s happening. Can make diagnosis tough sometimes. Low coolant will shut it down, without warning. Fun Fun Fun.
