Then they tow out a big, smoky, diesel powered 25kw generator, to fill you back up. Only requires about 150 gallons of diesel and you're good for another 100 miles.

 

Just had to try it once.
So going west one day at a straight stretch about a mile long, with nobody behind my I slowed to about 20, so the vehicles in front of me would be far away. When I saw traffic coming up on me from behind in the mirrors, I just accelerated hard to top gear, and held it wide open. Saw 292 before I had to slow down because I was catching the traffic, and a somewhat tight left hander was coming up. It had a bit more speed left, but not a lot, acceleration was not quick anymore.

 

DUDE. You're a MODERATOR. You gotta do better than that!!!

 

Buried the Speedo in my big truck on occasion……

not sure on my cbr929 on track days they made us tape up the speedo and all the glass…

 

Mid 60s T Birds deserve an honorable mention for interior. I’m not crazy about the exterior, though it’s plenty stylish and distinctive. The interiors are unbelievable. From Pw switches on the center console, to the swing away steering wheel, and swivel bucket seats. Done in blue or turquoise, just beautiful.
