The Hondas were known as 750 fours. That was a SOHC till mid 70’s, then went to DOHC.
The Kawasaki 900 Z-1 was a DOHC from the start. As to what you had, would depend on brand and year.

I'm not sure if they even have a good base at Bluewood yet, we've gotten very little in Dayton and it's been melting off.

I was told at early in my riding years to "ride like everybody out there is actively trying to kill you"

In the truck I follow the same basic rule just turned around a bit. Every body out there is trying to kill themselves on me.

Helps keep me in check. Cause though I believe we should encourage Darwinism going forward, I do not want to do the insurance paperwork involved with a fatality.

Honda did a number of 4 cylinder bikes called XXX four.
400, 500, 550, 750. Think they sort of dropped that when they went to DOHC models.

9.80@146 on the spray. Paul Civitello, aka Mad Max built the clutch and provided a lot of the go fast goodies.

I was 110 lbs. when I was in my 20's, so that bike was pretty fast for back in the day.

I ran at two tracks in Michigan: Martin 131 and Edmore. Martin kind of snubbed the bikes, made them all run together and you didn't get much track time compared to the cars.

Edmore would let the bikes compete with the cars in brackets. It was awesome until some 8 second car caught you at the top of the track while getting all squirrelly. I learned to line up with slower cars so I was the one playing catch-up.

The guys in the cars would get their panties all in a bunch if a guy on a bike ended up winning too much though.
