This was my favorite bike i had, sold it to get a k1200GT. Guy from Iceland bought it and shipped it.

Didn’t see a lot of the street models. Jawa, CZ, Husqvarna, Bultaco, Ossa and Maico were the Trials/trail and motocross bikes. The Japanese brands all had street bikes, off road was not considered much.

 

I had a Honda Silver Wing, 650 twin, watercooled. Laid/flipped it down on a curve at about 55 mph, 200 feet or so later went flying off the high side.

Helmet did its job, I survived. Bike didn't. Haven't sat on one since.
