I have a cat on my shelf, but since he's obviously somebody, I chopped his head off in the OP.

I thought we might freeze to death coming across 80 today. The wind was HOWLING straight from the North and ice cold.

    Blew through Blackie.

Had my flannel along my door to keep warm.

MPG took a hit to 7.6

The OM was not pleased, but authorized fried chicken and coffee.

That one reminded me of going to a Honda sponsored super bike event. Honda knows how to play to a crowed. During lunch break, a team of guys in Honda team getup rolled a little bike out to the start/finish line and prepped to start it. Announcers came over the P.A. and let every body know that Honda had brought along something a little special and to prepare to for something that had not been heard in a quarter century. One of the Factory 6 cylinder 2 strokes was pulled out of the archives and prepped for the event. Yep they ran it. Second lap at speed on a clear track. What an experience. Start up sounded kinda like this.....

And then it got loud and way too many RPMs for sanity I loved it.

Wow I need to find something to keep me on a calendar. Just got an email about some gov't offices shutting down. Thought it strange they would send that on a Sunday...... Only to look at the time stamp that said it's Monday.

Time to start working the phone and look for equipment.

I'm focused on moving into my modular double wide. So it's pack and move. By plywood, start ripping stuff out at the double wide. I don't think rates are going to be good over Baby Jesus birthday. I have to get out of the apartment anyway

A short time later I get a phone call... She has been diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes, she'll be 13 on Thursday. Fit as a fiddle amd skinny as a bean pole.

A flashlight taped to the handlebars would have hurt less, and been a better source of light. ;)
