    No. Because they will either close the lane a 1/2 mile before, or 25 feet before the work crew.

    Nothing gets attention faster than damaged guardrail.

    They can replace 200 feet of guardrail faster than I can get a PM.

    Replacing the guardrail can cost real money. The sign is cheap. Thats what Why-Oh-Ming does.
    Actually so does Idaho, Montana, Colorado and New Mexico.
